Refrion technology tours the leading HVAC/R trade
March has been an action-packed month for the Refrion Group, which on a two-week tour has attended three important European trade fairs, promoting solutions tailored to the specific theme of each event.
The first stage took place in Madrid from 28th February to 3rd March at the international exhibition “Climatización y Refrigeración”, with around 600 exhibitors and 45,000 visitors from 65 different countries.
Refrion joined forces with the Spanish distributor Equifab for the event, presenting its entire range of industrial adiabatic systems with PADS, which offer excellent performance even in countries with hot to mild climates, and the AS Manager, a unique controller for managing all Refrion adiabatic systems, including our Spray systems and H.S.S. (Hybrid Spray System).
The journey continued to Dusseldorf where, from 5th to 9th March, Refrion exhibited at the Euroshop Global Retail Trade Fair, Europe’s biggest trade fair dedicated to large retailers. Attending the event for the first time, Refrion presented its new Gas Cooler range, a remote condenser with refrigeration systems that use CO2 as their sole refrigerant. This approach, which includes the option of traditional finned pack heat exchangers, confirms Refrion’s commitment to a sustainable approach. In fact, CO2 is a natural refrigerant with a very low GWP (Global Warming Potential), and which presents no problems relating to toxicity, flammability or impact on the ozone layer. As such, it is an ecological solution that contributes to the fight against global warming, and is suitable for all large-scale refrigeration systems, even in raised ambient temperatures.
The tour concluded in London from 15th to 16th March at the Data Centre World Fair, a return visit for the Refrion Group following its positive experience at last year’s event. Once again, for this important, sensitive and fast-growing market, Refrion focused on the Ecooler, presenting a range of innovative solutions using the close circuit adiabatic system, which offers even better performance in terms of reliability, reduced operating costs, and energy and water saving. Particular emphasis was given to the technological upgrade of the Web Selector calculation software, offering greater assistance in selecting Refrion ventilated equipment.
“We were keen to participate in these three very prestigious events because only a direct comparison with the various international leaders confirms the strength of our offering,” declared Ervin Di Gleria, Sales Manager for Refrion. “The feedback we received in terms of PR and contacts has been very positive and confirms that this is the right approach for us.”
