Sustainability and innovation. We have chosen to be a future-proof company. By that we mean conducting our business in a way that fully respects natural resources. That’s why we’re banning single-use plastics: that’s over 65 thousand glass cups and over 7 thousand half-litre bottles a year in our 3 factories in Talmassons and Villa Santina.
How? We’ve replaced them with compostable materials and thermos flasks as a gift to each of our employees. What’s more, we’ve installed water dispensers with room temperature, chilled, natural and sparkling water, and we’ve equipped each meeting room with bigger thermos flasks. This is significantly ahead of the European legislation that will forbid the use of single-use plastics from 2021.
And that’s not all. We’ve replaced the internal and external lighting of our factories with LED lights, and we’re beginning to replace our entire vehicle fleet with electric and hybrid vehicles. We were also one of the first companies to install electric vehicle charging points.
